Game Design Document - Ready To Use
Save potentially hundreds of hours by easily designing & planning your game
Do I need this template?
This template is perfect for first-time hobbyists, indie developers, or even experienced game designers who want to make a game, but don't know how to start developing. It's also perfect for those of you who typically hop right into your respective game engine and find yourselves going back and forth making constant changes to the game.
By using this template and creating your own GDD, you can reduce development time and get a stronger understanding of your own game. The number of back-and-forth changes necessary during development suddenly becomes minimal, saving you time and money.
Why did you make this?
I've spent years writing design documents for games, created many games and prototypes based on my own documentation, and worked with countless clients who needed a strong foundation for their games but had no clue how to move forward. I also found that these clients would often lose track of their end goal during development. So I decided to take it upon myself to create a solution to the problem I saw far too often.
